David R. Duhamel, MD, pulmonologist will discuss the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, including the use of low dose CT scan for screening.
More people die from lung cancer than breast cancer, colon cancer and prostate cancer combined. While incidence of the disease is less common than malignancies of the breast and prostate, lung cancer is substantially more lethal. However, if detected early there is an 80 percent long-term survival rate.
